We met at the beginning of the COVID lockdowns so our first few dates were...different. We did get to spend a lot more quiet time together and got to know each other much faster! Our first super-meaningful conversation was about guacamole preferences which transitioned in to good vs. bad queso.
Our engagement was supposed to be during a romantic weekend in the Texas Hill Country, at a secluded mini-ranch, next to a hardwood fire, and during a home cooked meal. Instead our weekend was filled with pouring rain and being trapped inside, so Adam proposed over chips and queso (there's a theme here!) during a thunderstorm.
